東京生まれ東京育ち。外資系勤務からUS本社へ社内転籍を機にフロリダへ。そのままフロリダに根を張り、結婚して子どもを産んで、毎日が驚きの連続。道端やトレイルで孔雀・クマ・鹿・ターキー・ワニに普通に遭遇し、Rainbow Springsみたいな天然の湧き水で浮き輪に乗って流れる「天然レイジーリバー」が楽しめて、学校ではキャンディが配られてパジャマデーがある。ラーメン一杯$16＋チップ20%が普通の物価。「特別な方向感覚」の持ち主につき、車社会のフロリダではGPS不可欠。愛車はプリウス、ガソリン価格の変動もなんのその。満タンにすればオーランドからマイアミまで行けます。結婚前はCouchsurfingメンバーとして10カ国以上を単身旅行、東京では海外からのカウチサーファーの案内役も。社会人になってスノボとボディボードにハマり、勤務先のお客様から「あの子焦げてる」と言われるほど日焼けしていた時期も。学生時代はフルート奏者、高校ではブラスバンドの指揮者を務め、一瞬音大を目指すも結局ITの道へ。
駐在ではなく、フロリダに根を張った在住者として：確定申告して納税し、アメリカの医療保険で高い医療費と格闘し、子どもの学校区を考慮して家を購入。セントラルフロリダが大きく変わるのをこの目で見てきた10数年。
東京も、フロリダも、どちらも大好き。東京生まれとして、東京の食・文化・季節感・スーパーやコンビニのクオリティは世界一だと思っています。そんな二つの世界を生きるリアルな日常を発信中。海外在住のまま10年以上の氣志團ファンクラブ会員。GIGのためだけに単身帰国することもある神出鬼没なファン。
Born and raised in Tokyo. Transferred to the US headquarters through an internal move at my company — and Florida became home. Married, became a mom, and haven’t stopped being surprised since. Peacocks, bears, deer, turkeys, and alligators casually cross your path on the street or along hiking trails. At places like Rainbow Springs, you can float down a crystal-clear natural river on a tube — a real-life lazy river, no theme park required. School days include candy handouts and Pajama Day. And a bowl of ramen? $16 plus 20% tip — as of May 2026. Proud owner of a “special sense of direction” — GPS is absolutely non-negotiable in Florida’s car-dependent world. Driving a Prius, so gas prices don’t scare me — and a full tank gets me all the way from Orlando to Miami. Before settling down, traveled solo to 10+ countries as a Couchsurfing member — and hosted surfers around Tokyo too. Got seriously into snowboarding and bodyboarding after joining the workforce — got so tan that customers at my office once whispered “that girl looks charred.” Once a flute player and brass band conductor in high school, briefly considered music college — then ended up in IT instead.
Not here on a company assignment — I’m a full resident. I file taxes, navigate the American health insurance maze, and yes, we bought our house based on school district ratings. I’ve watched Central Florida transform over the past decade-plus. This is the real deal.
Tokyo and Florida — I love them both. Tokyo-born and proud of it — the food, the culture, the endless seasonal events, the supermarkets and convenience stores that rearrange themselves based on the weather and season. There’s nowhere quite like it. Sharing the real, unfiltered life of someone living between two worlds — and yes, I’ve been a Kishidan fan club member for over 10 years from overseas, known to fly back to Japan solo just for a GIG.
